Creating a new brand identity
Established in 2017 Cheshire Style Interiors are Homeware and Decor Specialists based, as you may guess, in Cheshire.
The business has been steadily growing since launch and the events of 2020 saw online sales rise massively. We were approached to help with the next step in their growth. The first part was to complete a rebrand of their logo and identitly and the second is to create a new, stand alone e-commerce website.
Their logo has been through a couple of iterations since the companies launch and both of these featured the motif of a Cheshire stags antlers and this was one of the things we were asked to include in the rebrand.
The other requirements were that logo needed to convey both what the business does and be both classic and contemporary.
After working through some drafts we found everyone liked the cushion motif which we incorporated with an embroidered stylised antler motif, one of the areas the company was founded upon was soft furnishing and fabrics so this also serves as a call back to the companies origins.
Unable to abbreviate the company name, CSI as an acronym has its own meanings which are difficult to get beyond, we chose to use the full business name spiting between a classic serif based font and a more contemporary sans-serif to give contrast.
We created a colour chart including the logos key colours to be used in branding and later on the website as well as an alternate logo layout to be used.
The logo is now being used in advertising and online and the plan is to have the website launched in the first half of 2021.
