The Coal Porters EPK
This month we’ve launched a new EPK for the alternative bluegrass band The Coal Porters.
An EPK is a digital promo package, an Electronic Press Kit, which bands provide for venues, bookers, reviewers and press.
The band had previously been paying a recurring fee to a 3rd party service for their EPK however that service was limited in what customisation could be done to it and so was becoming somewhat outdated.
Creating a new, mini website which could be customised exactly to their needs was thought a better solution. This new two page mini-site is also hosted within their existing web hosting package which means once it’s created and uploaded there is no extra or ongoing cost for the EPK.
The mini-site features all the essentials any bands EPK needs to have; music samples, official and live performance videos, a band biography, promo images and the all important booking information and contacts.
